This one-of-a-kind, stainless steel, counter-top hood exceeds the grease-laden vapor removal emission requirements of NFPA-96 & UL710B using the EPA-202 test method.  See cutsheet for specific use constraints related to maximum appliance kilowatt rating, temperature, fryer shortening capacity, and cooking surface area.  The hood features a 3-stage air filtration system with a double baffle grease filter, electrostatic air cleaner, and activated carbon filter.  An optional UV Lamp Package is available, which can provide sanitization of discharge air and help with controlling cooking odor. The Hood can be configured with an optional Interlocked Appliance Power Receptacle (50A max) that can help minimize on-site installation work. The GVH-C Ventless Hood requires an ANSUL R-102A fire suppression system.  The unit includes factory-installed internal piping, discharge nozzles, fusible link brackets, conduit and wire cable, and is ready for connection to a fire protection system.  Purchase and final installation of external fire protection components, installation of fusible links, charging and certification of the system must be performed by an authorized ANSUL agent, and is the responsibility of the User, NOT included with Hood purchase.
